About the team and this role:
You will be part of a high-velocity sales team which will sit in the Bangalore office daily from 3pm-midnight (IST) pumping out cold emails, cold messages, cold calls, and some warm too. You must be absolutely ready for this type of work, it's intense but if you rise to the challenge, it can be immensely rewarding - career-wise and financially. **THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE**
Responsibilities:
- High volume hunting. 100+ leads per day to cold outbound leads, which you will generate yourself and reach out to.
- Identify target segments and own these.
- Qualify the leads with basic questioning, and book in meetings for the AE. Handover the lead to the AE with notes. Attend sales meetings when possible.
- Keep detailed records in the CRMs. Maintain all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information.
- Chase up and close relentlessly but not annoyingly.
- Learn a detailed understanding of US startup taxes, compliance and accounting needs. But you don't need to be an accountant or CPA or anywhere near. Enough to understand, and we'll teach you everything very quickly.
- Learn how to assist in preparing & delivering pricing quotations when required.
- Chase up and close relentlessly but not annoyingly.
- Design, develop, and deliver sales proposals and presentations on product benefits to prospective clients.
- Keep up to date with the current company offerings and industry trends.
Skills and Requirements:
- Prior experience as an SDR would be great, but we're open to considering freshers. Total 0-5 years workex, ideally in US B2B SMB SaaS sales but not mandatorily.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- An insane fire in the belly to do a massive volume of cold calls/emails/LinkedIn msgs daily without being asked.
- Very high attention to detail and ability to analyse processes/data.
- Very high willingness to speak with customers and hold sales meetings daily.
- Extreme proactiveness. This is the number one trait we’re looking for. We will not micromanage you - you must be a complete self-starter, and make yourself super busy and just take care of things without being asked.
- English is key: you’ll need very strong English (written and spoken).
- Communication willingness is critical: you need to overcommunicate without being asked.

- Highly competitive salary: Inkle offers a competitive compensation package benchmarked to local norms in Bangalore and San Francisco. Your compensation will be based on a normal OTE formula. The number given below is OTE.
