About the team and this role:
You’ll be part of Inkle’s marketing team, collaborating closely with our Marketing Designer to bring high quality content. You’ll write huge volumes daily, so a love of writing is a big plus. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to orchestrate a large-scale content campaign to impact heavily on SEO/AEO/GEO. Mainly through website, but also social media posts, marketing campaigns, and more. This is a great opportunity to level up your creative skills while collaborating with designers, marketers, and product team members.  

Responsibilities:

• Harness AI and your own writing skills to develop engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, email campaigns, and website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and objectives.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand voice and messaging guidelines.
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communication channels.

• Plan and execute social media content calendars to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities to engage with the audience.
• Copy-write all public facing material. 
• Assist in copy-writing inside our apps. 

• Work closely with graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to create multimedia content that aligns with brand standards.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to integrate messaging into campaigns and promotional materials.

• Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of content and campaigns.
• Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing strategies.
• Use market insights to enhance content strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Who we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in an arts subject, with a focus on writing (for example English Literature, Communications, Marketing).
• You’ll need very strong English (written and spoken) and absolute willingness to overcommunicate without being asked.
• 2-5 years of experience in content marketing or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically about brand positioning.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and their application in content creation.
• Strong understanding of the US startup ecosystem (founders, accelerators, VCs, service providers).
• Extreme proactiveness. This is the number one trait we’re looking for. We will not micromanage you - you must be a complete self-starter, and make yourself super busy and just take care of things without being asked.
• Very high attention to detail.
• Working with lots of softwares - speed is of the essence, and you must be comfortable using AI tools to get even faster.
• Travel when required in India and the US, but based in Bengaluru.
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, based in our Bengaluru office, you’ll work 3pm-midnight IST daily in office, in order to collaborate with our SF office and customers/partners. Route cabs and dinner will be provided.

Working hours: If you indicate that you wish to join as full-time in Bangalore (WFO), we will prefer candidates who are ready to work 3pm-midnight IST daily in office, in order to collaborate with our SF office. Dinner and night route cab to go home will be provided. We will definitely consider applicants who indicate that they wish to work remotely (WFH) but the bar of selection will be higher.
